This course will provide you with all the knowledge you need to become a professional Bridal Make Up Artist.

You will master the art of Bridal make up application as well as understanding how to promote and place yourself within the industry.

You will be taught using only the best professional brands by leading professionals who still work within the industry, because of this you will gain a wealth of insider’s tips and current techniques. In addition the course will provide you with in-depth knowledge of products and will assist you with the development of your kit.

As with our other courses, class numbers are restricted to small groups so we can engage with our students, ensuring that you get one to one tuition and time to practice and develop your skills.

We know that sometimes starting out can be daunting so as part of the course the school will provide you with a client to give you an opportunity to undertake a trial consultation.

 

 

Hygiene – Understanding how to care for your kit and products.

Skin care and Preparation – A step by step guide to skincare and products.  You will learn how to analyse different skin types in order to gain an understanding of the importance in choosing the correct products to compliment your final look.

Flawless Foundation – Master the art of creating the perfect base, looking specifically at coverage, application/techniques, textures, finishes, colour and durability.

Contouring & Corrective Techniques – Learn how to sculpt and enhance the natural features of the face, through the art of contouring and highlighting. You will also learn how to correct imperfections on the face such as dark circles and blemishes.

Radiant Skin - How to achieve beautifully glowing and dewy looks

Natural Make up – Study the art of creating the perfect ‘Natural’ Look.

Make Up Design –  How to create and apply a bespoke look for your client.

Kit Building – An in-depth look at products and kit essentials needed to build your professional Bridal kit.

Marketing – You will gain knowledge on setting up as a self-employed Bridal make up artist, this will include creating your C.V, web-site and business cards. You will also learn how to promote yourself and find clients.

Photography & Lighting – Learn the effects of photographic lighting and how to alter your make up accordingly.

Pricing & Invoicing – This section talks you through how to competitively place yourself in the market and invoice clients.

Bridal Trials & Consultations – This section is all about putting your client at ease and finding out exactly what they need from their make up on their big day.    

Bridal Trends – You will look at current bridal trends and how to interpret them for your client.

Mature Make Up – Some of your Bridal parties may also wish to have their make up professionally applied for the big day, with this is mind this section will teach you how to apply make up for the mature lady.
